Château Meyre ligger i hjertet af Medoc lige ved siden af vinmarkerne, som grænser op til Margaux. Château Meyre har lavet vin i tre århundreder, og blev anset som et velrenommeret slot i Medoc allerede i 1876. Slottet blev klassificeret Cru Bourgeois i 1932.
Ejendommen består totalt af 19 hektar. 13 hektar foran slottet har kalk, ler og sand. 4 hektar (Haut-Médoc) befinder sig nærmere Gironde, og her er jorden mestendels grus. Endelig har man 2 hektar, der ligger i Margaux. Man går meget op i bæredygtighed og miljøvenligt landbrug. Château Meyre har været økologisk siden 2008, og certificeret siden 2011. 2020 tildelt status of Cru Bourgeois Superieur.

Château Meyre is located in the heart of the Medoc, right next to the vineyards bordering Margaux. Château Meyre has been making wine for three centuries and was recognised as a reputable chateau in the Medoc as early as 1876. The château was classified Cru Bourgeois in 1932.
The property consists of 19 hectares in total. 13 hectares in front of the château have limestone, clay and sand. 4 hectares (Haut-Médoc) are closer to the Gironde, and here the soil is mostly gravel. Finally, there are 2 hectares located in Margaux. There is a strong commitment to sustainability and environmentally friendly farming. Château Meyre has been organic since 2008, and certified since 2011. 2020 awarded the status of Cru Bourgeois Superieur.
